Beef Chow Mein


– 8 ounces of egg noodles, cooked and drained
– 8 ounces of steak, cut into one-inch strips
– 1 pack of beansprouts
– 2 carrots, shredded
– 1 medium onion, chopped finely
– 1 garlic clove, chopped finely
– 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
– 2½ tablespoons of olive oil
– 1¼ tablespoons of sugar
– 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
– ½ teaspoon of salt


– Cook your noodles as stated on the packet.
– In a suitably sized wok, heat the olive oil.
– Add the beef steak and stir fry for about five minutes, until almost cooked.
– Add the garlic, onion, carrot, and fry for another two minutes.
– Add the beansprouts, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, noodles, and mix throughly.
– Serve.
